Sprout has always loved her plastic animals and we have played lots of games with them recently. One of her favourites was this simple matching game.
I laid out some cards from an animal snap game and popped the matching animals in her shopping basket. She also loves sorting different types of animals, so I put a line of farmyard animals above the zoo animals.
All the animals were instructed to stand up on their matching cards!
