This morning the three of us set off to do something that we have been meaning to do for ages, go to a family Saturday art workshop at aspex gallery! Matt and I used to live in Southsea, so we have visited many times over the years and I have even taught there. Today we got to experience the space with our little Sprout in a whole new way and it was my favourite visit ever.
The theme of the workshop today was collaboration, so we all worked together to produce a multi media masterpiece! Laid out on a great big table were lots of materials, Sprout got to try out some new things like oil pastels and paint dabbers.
Family Saturdays at aspex gallery take place from 11am to 1pm and are totally free. It’s suitable for all ages and no need to book. We will definitely be going back soon!
