Sprout reads : Animalphabet

When we sit down to read a book I am particularly happy if it has beautiful illustrations and Sprout loves a flap or two to open! Animalphabet by Julia Donaldson and Sharon King-Chai has plenty of both.

We loved the engaging questions which lead from animal to animal as you journey through the alphabet in this gorgeous book. Who is faster? Who is muddier? As soon as you open the front cover there are flaps to interact with and animals to name.

I loved the variety of animals and the level of detail in their habitats.

Sprout’s favourite page was the octopuses having a cuddle, because the Mummy octopus was her favourite colour and she loved the cut outs as well. We borrowed this lovely book from the library and really didn’t want to give it back!

If you need this book in your life you can buy a copy from Amazon. If you purchase anything through the links in my post you are helping to support my blog as I get a small referral fee from Amazon. Thank you!
