Sprout loves to be crafty and decorate things and I love to give practical gifts, so these lovely tote bags make the perfect presents!
To decorate our bags, we used Posca pens, rubber stamps and Versacraft ink. I picked pens and ink that could be heat fixed so our bags would be long lasting and withstand the weather. Versacraft ink is amazing stuff, it’s non toxic, washable, can be used on fabric, paper and wood and it comes in beautiful bright colours.
Sprout wanted to start off by drawing on one side and stamping on the other. She stamped her favourite animals and her favourite letters. At one point she painted her hands with the ink pad to stamp them too! I would recommend putting a piece of card inside the bag whilst you decorate it to protect the other side.
Grandma and Granny loved their homemade presents and I’m sure Sprout will ask to do more soon.
