Yesterday Sprout asked me if we could do some painting, so I pulled out five of her old toothbrushes, that I had been collecting, for such an afternoon! Whilst the rain pitter pattered against the windows, we sat at the kitchen table and explored a new way of mark making.
Sprout selected some orange sugar paper and then she set to work, scrubbing away with her toothbrushes. She liked that you could scoop up lots of paint in one go and was so excited to be using something so familiar, but unusual to paint with, that her painting style was even more enthusiastic than usual!
