Sprout reads : Socks for Mr. Wolf by Tatyana Feeney

We have just had to return this book to the library because we had reached our maximum amount of renewals! Sprout wanted to read Socks for Mr. Wolf by Tatyana Feeney over and over and I was more than happy with her choice because the illustrations are gorgeous and the story is just lovely.

The story has two characters, one is a friendly wolf. He goes to the library and learns a new skill to solve his problem, which went down very well in our house. It does mean that Sprout now tells me to knit a new one every time something goes missing or gets broken!

We particularly loved the page with the sunflowers, Sprout thought they looked like lots of sunshines, which she said made her very happy.

If you like the sound of this lovely book you can purchase your very own copy from Amazon. If you purchase anything through the links in my post you are helping to support my blog as I get a small referral fee from Amazon. Thank you!
