Sprout and I have been having great fun painting, colouring and decorating our wooden Christmas shapes. My star punch came out when we were making a collage recently and I realised we could make the prettiest confetti to decorate more shapes!
I used five different colours of sugar paper so the stars were all lovely pastel shades. I’m going to keep the strips of paper for another project and more collages, Sprout loves to colour in the holes!
To decorate our shapes, we painted them using a paintbrush and lots of PVA glue. Then we picked up handfuls of stars and sprinkled them on. Another coat of PVA on top will make sure all the stars stay put.
