This year I was so excited to start making Christmas decorations with Sprout. So far we have been having great fun with some festive stickers Grandma bought for us. We have also been decorating lolly stick snowflakes.
I set to work with a pile of sticks and my hot glue gun one evening to prepare lots of snowflakes. I didn’t use PVA because they will need to withstand an energetic toddler! If you plan to hang them up I would recommend adding string or ribbon when they are finished because it will make them easier to decorate.
We have decorated our snowflakes (which could just as easily make lovely stars) with crayons and stickers, paint and confetti paper sprinkles.
