We love doing wooden puzzles and you can never have too many. We have ones with dinosaurs, farm animals, and even fruit! One afternoon while Sprout napped I thought I would quickly make her a new puzzle, with bits and bobs from around the house.
To make your own all you need is a piece of paper, a pen, a variety of objects to draw round and five minutes! My objects were a playing card, a star shaped cookie cutter, duplo bricks, a food clip, a pastry brush, a horse shaped cookie cutter, a wooden penguin and a wooden cog. I also used Sprout’s treasure basket to keep the puzzle pieces together.
Sprout was thrilled to wake up to a new puzzle, which was made up of familiar things. If you want your puzzle to last a bit longer you could always laminate it to make it a bit more toddler proof!
