Sprout loves to pick up leaves, sticks and anything else she can find when we go for a walk. There are so many tempting leaves and pinecones around at the moment that we have amassed quite a collection! We thought we would use some of our favourite ones as paintbrushes!
While Sprout napped I stuck a piece of paper in her tuff tray (I use blu tack to hold it in place), put a selection of “paintbrushes” on one side and three colours of paint on the other. When she woke up Sprout wanted to get painting straight away!
We used Crayola Washable Paint, which has such vibrant, lovely colours. Our pot of orange is so nearly empty, Sprout used loads in this lovely autumn picture. Her favourite paintbrush was definitely a stick and she loved watching me print with the pinecone.
