This week’s treasure basket is filled with a selection of metal objects and a giant magnet, which used to be mine when I was small. My sister and I had matching magnets and I found mine in a box of old toys and books.
This basket contained a whisk, cookie cutters, measuring spoons, teaspoons, pegs, tongs, jam jar lids and a giant magnet. Some things aren’t magnetic, which makes things a bit more interesting.
When we first looked at this basket Sprout wanted to use the lids and spoons to serve food to me and her dolly, but when she accidentally picked up a lid with the magnet and it made that satisfying connecting clunk, she was hooked! It wasn’t long before she insisted that every spoon we owned was added to her pile for a magnetic inspection!
