After the success of the wool maze I was trying to think of another way to hide Sprout’s animals. She is fascinated by socks and we haven’t had much cause to wear them on these hot days of late, so to put them to good use I decided to make a game with them and stuff them with animals!
The first time we played I left their heads peeking out but to make it harder, push the animals right down into the toes of the socks. Their legs, ears and spikes (in the case of the dinosaurs!) will then get caught on the way out.
I’m sure we will play lots of variations on this game, stuffing different things inside the socks and maybe sorting the animals once they have been discovered!
