I found the brilliant tutorial for a marbled clay dish on the lovely A Beautiful Mess blog a couple of months before Christmas and knew it would be a perfect handmade present for my sister! I had never worked with Sculpey before and was really keen to give it a go.
The tutorial was really easy to follow and I was so pleased with my finished bowl! I picked out four different 57 g packs in white, grey granite, peacock pearl and turquoise. I used the whole pack of white as my base colour and then smaller amounts of the darker colours. I also learnt that you can mix all the different types of Sculpey so feel free to pick whichever colours you love the most.
With the leftover bits of marbled clay I made some star decorations for my tree!
If you want to make your own lovely bowl you can find the tutorial on the A Beautiful Mess blog here. You can buy Sculpey from Amazon, if you purchase anything through the links in my post you are helping to support my blog as I get a small referral fee from Amazon. Thank you!
