Today I started to take my Christmas decorations down and carefully pack them away. When I came to my felt star garland I wasn’t sure how best to wrap it, as they can get very easily tangled. I was going to wrap it around a piece of cardboard, like I would for a piece of bunting, but as there were so many stars, they kept getting creased and folded over the edges. Then I had a light bulb moment!
I simply taped one end of the garland onto an empty kitchen roll tube using a small piece of making tape. Then I wound the garland carefully around the tube and taped the other end in place.

An excellent way to store a garland. I have two old books I use to wrap my tree lights around because I used to spend far too long unravelling them only to find that despite being checked before hand they didn’t work when I put them on the tree.
