Last Thursday night I learnt three new skills, enjoyed fantastic food and mulled wine and spent time with some of my very favourite creative people at the Make & The Craft Kitchen’s Christmas party! When we arrived we were all given a beautiful handmade Christmas card. One of the cards had a gift voucher tucked inside for the lucky recipient!
I made some lovely gift tags and learnt how to emboss and cut out complicated shapes using a Sizzix Big Shot. It was lovely to work with a new material and make some festive goodies!
I learnt how to make quilted baubles, using polystyrene balls, squares of fabric and pins. With a bit of nifty folding and some lovely fabric you can make these beautiful decorations. Mine is now proudly hanging on my Christmas tree!
There was even time to learn how to make peppermint creams! I used edible glitter to make them even more appealing and loved the snowflake embossing tool!
Thank you to everyone at Make & The Craft Kitchen, I had such a brilliant evening and I can’t wait until next year!
