I had the most fantastic hen do last Saturday! On a beautifully sunny day, armed with some lovely handmade goodies from Oh Squirrel, my favourite people and I hopped on a train to Brighton. Our first stop was the Thistle Hotel for a chocolate making workshop with My Chocolate. A lovely lady called Diana showed us how to make chocolate truffles, we had a chocolate button making competition – which my Mum won – and we learnt loads about how chocolate is made and it’s history. We decorated everything we made and ate lots of chocolate, fudge and marshmallows along the way! As the bride-to-be I also got to make a giant chocolate bar, which I flavoured with orange oil and decorated with a big heart as a present for Matt!
