My wonderful big sister organised my hen do, which took place on Saturday in Brighton! I gave her a few ideas about what I might like to do and then left it all in her very capable hands. She picked a theme of ‘By the Sea’ because that is where we live and are getting married and picked Brighton as a perfect seaside location! She also did her utmost to make it handmade and personal. This started the night before with a beautifully wrapped package which contained a handmade sash made by Oh Squirrel. The lovely Katie made it from blue and cream nautical fabric to fit the theme.
She also made personalised goodie bags for all the hens, which included pocket mirrors and name badges and were made from book pages and postcards that she had stitched together. She made some gorgeous flags too, which we stuck in the pebbles on the beach!
