I was really pleased to discover that the card that we printed our save the date cards on is the perfect thickness for the templates in my heirloom quilt! We printed a few prototypes when we were testing out the colours so these have been turned into hexagons. I’ve also made templates out of recycled greetings cards before, I love turning over my quilt and seeing little messages from loved ones. Now I will have little reminders of our wedding plans too!
