I have lots of flowers and a couple of panels stitched together for my heirloom quilt so now I need to start sewing them together! I was inspired by my Mum’s hexagon quilt and she taught me how to stitch my own, so I thought it would be perfect to put the panel that she designed for me in the middle of mine. Around the edge of this I’ve added the flowers I made from the hexagons my Mum gave me from her quilt. It’s going to grow outwards from here!
wow it is looking wonderful can’t wait to see the finished product – it will be amazing
Thank you! Its certainly a work in progress.
Gorgeous Georgina! ………love hexagons!!
Thank you Marie – me too!
How lovely. I’m sure it’ll be a stunner!
Thank you Lucie.
It’s beautiful! I love the choice of colours and prints – will you keep with these?
I’m using blues because that is my favourite colour and only using fabrics that I really love, I’m always finding new ones to add! I will bring it to show you in September 🙂
I can see how they can end up being enormous – just to fit one more new fabric! Looking forward to seeing it 🙂
Exactly!
