I have so much beautiful fabric that I want to make into clothes for the summer and for my honeymoon next year. I’ve made clothes before but I’ve never been taught how to read a pattern and I would love to be able to make exactly what I want and for it for fit me properly. Make are now running dressmaking courses and I was first in line to book a place on the introductory class! You get to pick from their beautiful fabrics to make your very own simple skirt and also learn how to follow a commercial pattern. I can’t wait!

Have a good time. Nothing is as empowering as learning to sew and seeing the garment that you have made. It will be one-of-a-kind. There will never be another one like it and you will have made it. I don’t know about you but that not only makes me feel special but also powerful in a good way.
