Last night I spent the most enjoyable evening teaching eight ladies at the alternative embroidery workshop at Aspex. I took along lots of different materials including sticks and stones, sandpaper, silk, lace, string, Hessian and a rainbow of embroidery thread. The ladies all learnt some new stitches and they were soon under way!
