Spring is on its way and so is the Spring Tea Party! On Sunday the 7th of April the Spring Tea Party will take place at Like a Teatray in the Sky from 12noon to 3pm, which is not only the loveliest vintage tearooms with the yummiest food but it is also a real creative hub and a wonderful relaxed venue, the perfect setting to spend an afternoon learning and making.
After eating a full afternoon tea you will get to pick a piece of lovely fabric, your favourite colour embroidery thread and stitch a little embroidered message to take home and hang on your wall. I will show you how to sew split stitch, French knots and several other decorative stitches to decorate your chosen word. You can choose to stitch any word you like and I will have plenty of examples on hand to inspire your designs.
