This coming Saturday at Make on Albert Road there will be an afternoon filled with taster sessions to create some lovely Valentine’s themed crafts. So if you fancy checking out the super lovely setting, having a browse through the shop and having an hour to yourself then pop down between 1pm and 3pm. It only costs £5 per person per craft and is on a first come first served basis. I will be teaching a couple of the crafts which require no previous sewing experience!

The woven hearts was always one of my favourite lessons to teach in maths, usually at the end of term. Students used to use paper or card for them. What a lovely idea to make them with felt. If you add a handle they can be filled with chocolate 🙂
Yes, they do make great baskets!
Unfortunately, this clashes with the crochet workshop at the pyramids at 2pm on Saturday. Its a shame if you go in to competition with each other as all is needed
I think it’s great how many creative things there are to do in Portsmouth, everything seems to be happening in this Saturday – the unveiling of the knitted yarnscape at the Dockyard too! There is always something going on, its great how we all support and promote one another!
