I’m on holiday in Ilfracombe this week, staying in a big house right by the sea. We have walked for miles, eaten lots of tasty food and I even got to fulfil a dream – horseriding on the beach in Woolacombe! Today Matt and I visited Griffins Yard in South Molton, which has a craft shop stocked full of wool and other handmade things and a gallery tucked away upstairs. They also had the most gorgeous pile of hand knitted socks and a big selection of ceramic buttons. Nikki bought me some beautiful skeins of blue wool and some bamboo needles from here when she visited yesterday – I think a pair of hand warmers may be in order!
